PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
It gives me immense pleasure to introduce GCPS, Aligarh, as an ambitious and thriving institution that places heavy emphasis on the development and education of its students in their preparation to face and win over the upcoming challenges of life. We constantly work to form collaborative relationships with staff, parents and students to create a stimulating culture of working together towards the common aim of “success of our learners in their ambitions’, which will carry them forward and stay with them into the future. This School envisages a holistic approach to develop students through Pre Nursery to Class 12 through multi-faceted development of students that includes, academia, sports, creativity, values and behavior. This approach not only inculcates a coherent and conducive environment in the school but also augments excellence in learning and developing balanced personalities. The school is willing and striving to produce heroes of the future but by providing them with opportunities to perform, be creative, participate, win and learning in a healthy way. Our teachings are centered around the requirements of the board in terms of curriculum, but we also make space for allowing children to think on their own, develop their own personality, have freedom to express themselves and encourage ‘out of the box’ thinking, because this is where excellence, creativity and exceptionality fosters. We encourage our students to build their own dreams and we will support them in achieving it, we request for your support and co-operation to achieve this goal. I would like to quote Margarat Mead, a famous American Anthropologist who once said, “Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.”
