Independence Day Celebration 2025 at Green Crescent Public School
The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at Green Crescent Public School in both the Medical Road and Doharra branches. The entire program was filled with inspiring speeches, patriotic songs, traditional dances, and poems that highlighted the love and respect of students and teachers for the nation.
At the Medical Road branch, the program was beautifully anchored by Areeba and Ayan of class 10th. The celebration began with the flag hoisting by the Director, Mrs. Sabiha Mohsin, and the Principal, Mrs. Iram Ahmad, along with all the teachers, followed by the national anthem sung by the students. The morning prayer was presented by Shams Ahmad of class 10th, after which the Principal delivered a motivational speech. Students presented a series of performances that added charm to the occasion. These included an Urdu nazm by Abdullah Sadiq, a Hindi speech by Fatima, another Urdu nazm by Ali, an Urdu speech by Shafaq, a Hindi poem by Nashra, and an English speech by Bushra. Students from class 3rd to 10th showcased the cultural diversity of India through traditional dance forms, which were enjoyed by all. A soulful rendition of the patriotic song Ayee Watan Watan Mere Aabaad Rahe Tu further lifted the patriotic spirit. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the anchors. The success of the program was due to the efforts of teachers Ms. Hira Mahek along with Ms. Sidra Zaki, Ms. Saima Parveen, Ms. Madiha Sohrab, Mr. Mushahid, Mrs. Sumaiyya and Mr. Sameer Tufail under the guidance of the Director and Principal
At the Doharra branch, the program was conducted by Alishan and Aqsa Nasir. Students took active part in various segments of the celebration. Asfia of class 12th delivered a Hindi speech, Fiona of class 12th presented an English speech, and Maria of class 9th spoke in Urdu. The literary segment also included an English poem recited by Amima, followed by the patriotic song *Teri Mitti Mein Mil Jawan*. The National Anthem was sung with great pride by the students, and a colourful dance performance added a festive touch to the event. The program was well supported by the teachers: Mrs. Seemab Abbas, Mrs. Fatima Habib, Mr. Farhan Sheikh, Ms. Sana Habib, Ms. Nausheen and Mrs. Samprada, and Ms. Maryam Sadaf with Mrs. Shumaila under the guidance of the Principal, Mrs Sana Raheem.
The Independence Day celebrations at both branches were not only a display of talent and creativity but also a reminder of the sacrifices made for the freedom of the nation. The program inspired everyone to uphold the values of unity, peace, and patriotism, leaving a lasting impression on all present.
