A one day educational trip was organized by Green Crescent Public School, Aligarh on the 10th of December to visit Lohagarh Farm, at Gurugram, Haryana. The tour comprised students from classes 3rd to 12th along with the teachers and non-teaching staff. All the students were directed to gather in the school premises at 5:45 am, the director of the school Mrs. Sabiha Mohsin wished all the students the best and safe journey.
We started our journey at 6:30 am and reached at the location at 11:30 am.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a beautiful traditional welcome. The farm was buzzing with activity, and we couldn't wait to dive in.
Designed and built in a pure Desi fashion and intricately ornamented with rural crafts, the Lohagarh Farms is an ideal short-duration getaway destination. Located at a convenient distance from the Millennium City, Gurugram, it offers a wide range of rural pastimes, customized activities, entertainment, creativity, and cuisines, which aim to reconnect you with India's rural roots in delightful ways.
One of the highlights of the tour was getting a chance to experience farm life firsthand. The students got to ride on a tractor! It was such a fun and educational experience, and they learned a lot about agriculture and rural traditions.
The farm also had a variety of recreational activities for the children to enjoy. They had a blast riding on camel carts, taking bullock cart rides, and exploring the lush green surroundings. The delicious traditional food served at the farm was the cherry on top of an already amazing day.
Overall, our visit to Lohagarh Farms was a memorable and enriching experience. It was a great opportunity to learn about rural life, experience traditional activities, and appreciate the natural beauty.
